Participation at the meetings of the Working Group оn Higher Education Strategy development (August-September 2020, on-line)
On 8 August 2020 the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine hosted the first meeting of the Working Group оn Higher Education Strategy in Ukraine development (2021-2031).
The document is being developed in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine № 210/2020 and the relevant instructions of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The working group includes 93 professional experts, including MPs, experts from the National Institute for Strategic Studies, NASU, rrectors of leading Ukrainian HEIs, representatives of the employers’ federation, NAQA etc.
In August, working meetings of 13 subgroups took place. The majority of subgroups were attended by HERE team members – Volodymyr BAKHRUSHYN, Vadym ZAKHARCHENKO, Svitlana KALASHNIKOVA, Volodymyr LUGOVYY, Yuriy RASHKEVYCH, as well as the representative of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine Zhanna TALANOVA.
The experts provided proposals on Development the system for monitoring and evaluating the quality of education, Higher education financing, Teacher of the future, Analysis of the current state of higher education in Ukraine, Development of higher education management. The proposals of HERE team and NEO in Ukraine will be presented on the NEO-Ukraine website.
